It depends. Sometimes time constraints at a point in time only allow for a certain amount of time a day. Sometimes participating in a group/social type of activity is appropriate at that time. I do have quilting projects that are large and self-imposed goals are the only way to get those completed.

Your project is stunning BTW. It looks finished to me!

I am definitely the self imposed challenge type. It might be my adhd - I need a goal to complete something creative.

Love the softness with the pencil, Wren! I’m very self-motivated but it’s all about blocking off the time on my weekly calendar to actually define and complete my goals outside of daily business tasks. Otherwise I just keep going with the same things and never expand ✨
