I know...the 80s called and they'd like their color back! I don't think it was a good color even then...and I was there!

I admit, I like it. It's a color I tend to gravitate towards for accents. Perhaps that's the real issue: it's a supporting actor, not the lead. I strongly dislike the color palettes they created for it, and they do the color a disservice. It's a color that works best with a deep, moody blue that lends some gravitas. It needs the contrast.
