Hang in there Wren. Good for you for allowing yourself to pivot, and even abandon it if needed! The whole point of challenges (at least in my perspective) is to grow, build skill, and enjoy the process.
I love your painting and storytelling! I too find it hard to force myself to repeat what isn't resonating... but I love that setting goals in his 100 day journey gets me to try out these artistic impulses. Those are some great mushrooms... fairytale quality.
By the way, I was at Trader Joe's this week and saw "your" orchid.
Hey these are so cool! Have you written an article on what you wish you've known when you were beginning painting? I've always wanted to start working with paints or oils and never know where to start, or what supplies to buy (so many kits on amazon seem very poorly made)...
Thanks! If you live in the US, try taking a class at your city’s local Art League. These are local, independent non-profits that offer classes in a variety of media and sponsor exhibits for local emerging artists. There are also groups run by the local outlets of various art societies, like watercolor, mixed media, etc. Good luck!
Thank you for sharing your talent. The struggle for creativity is especially strong here, so your insight on resolutions is appreciated.
Thanks! 😊 No insights, just trying to find the next waypoint on the trail

Thanks! ☺️ I’ve been surprised how grocery stores are carrying wider varieties of flowers recently.
